Start, Finish and Packet Pick-Up

The Start/Finish and event Expo area will be located at the Basin Recreation Field House (1388 Center Dr in Kimball Junction.)  The Rockin’ Finish party will be there as well!

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up is Friday evening May 17th, 5:00 – 7:00 pm, at Newpark Resort Hotel, 1476 Newpark Boulevard, Park City, 84098.  Included in the packet are team bib numbers, vehicle numbers, slap wristbands,  and t-shirts. It is highly recommended someone from your team picks up the packet at this time.

Please bring all Vail waivers if not turned in previously. If you replaced a runner and they were not registered through RunSignUp, bring their RWE Waiver as well.

At the Starting Line

Registration – check in (at the Basin Recreation Field house) 30 minutes before your start time, or 45 minutes if you have not picked up your packet. Please bring all Vail waivers if not previously turned in.  All team members must be present at the starting line and participate in a 10 minute safety presentation.

Start times will go out a few days before the race. Each team will be given a start time anywhere from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, depending on their pace given during registration.


Parking – PARK YOUR CAR AT THE FIELD HOUSE. The start and finish line is at the Basic Recreation Field House.

At the Finish Line – The finish line is inside at the Basic Recreation Field House.  Meet your team at the Northeast Corner of the Basin Recreation Field House (on the trail) and cross the finish line together! ALL TEAMS, PARK YOUR CAR AT THE FIELD HOUSE for the finish line party.

There will be a free lunch, soft drinks and medals for each runner as well as music and a Beer Garden. Please bring your ID for the Beer Garden! There will be activities for the kids, and sponsor giveaways at the expo.

Parking – Team cars must park at the field house for the finish line party.

 Safety Reminders

Vehicles and Car Route

Each team is allowed one vehicle per 5 runners to the respective exchange points.  Vehicles may only stop at the exchange points.  Vehicles must also follow the Vehicle Route provided to your teams at registration.  Vehicles must be cautious of runners and obey all traffic rules and volunteers.


Safety Rules

·         Vehicles must not stop between exchanges 

·         Vehicles must not exceed posted speed limit 

·         Runners must not be assisted from vehicles between exchanges 

·         Runners may not use headphones. If you wear earbuds, please keep one out. Trails are open.

·         Vehicles must yield to runners

·         Vehicle must follow designated vehicle route

·         Vehicles must park in designated parking spaces at exchanges 



The race will go on regardless of weather.  Please dress and prepare accordingly.
