Start/Finish Areas
The Start/Finish and event Expo area will be located at the Basin Recreation Field House (Kimball Junction). The racer/volunteer BBQ and concert will also be located at the Field House.

At the Starting Line
Registration – check in (at the Basin Rec Field House) 1 hour before your start time to pick up your registration packet. Included in the packet are team bib numbers, vehicle numbers, slap wristbands, course guides, mandatory safety rules, and swag bag. All team members must be present for registration. Team members must also fill out forms at registration.
Parking – PARK YOUR CAR AT THE FIELD HOUSE. The start and finish line is at the Basic Rec Field House.
At the Finish Line - The finish line is inside at the Basic Rec Field House. Meet your team at the Northeast Corner of the Basin Rec Field House (on the trail) and cross the finish line together! ALL TEAMS, PARK YOUR CAR AT THE FIELD HOUSE for the finish line party.
There will be a free BBQ or pizza and soft drinks for racers (and those participating in the Walk-a-Thon) and medals for each runner. There will be live music, a Beer Garden, and carnival activities for kids. All awards, including fastest teams, best team spirit and best exchange, will be announced at 4:30 pm.
An opportunity drawing will also take place for the biggest fundraisers!
Parking - Team cars must park at the field house for the finish line party.

Safety Reminders
Vehicles and Car Route
Each team is allowed one vehicle to carry each runner to the respective exchange points. Vehicles may only stop at the exchange points. Vehicles must also follow the “Car Route” provided to your teams at registration (and also available at www.runningwithed.org under race bible tab). Vehicles must be cautious of runners and obey all traffic rules and volunteers.
Safety Rules
· Vehicles must not stop between exchanges
· Vehicles must not exceed posted speed limit
· Runners must not be assisted from vehicles between exchanges
· Runners may not use headphones
· Vehicles must yield to runners
· Vehicle must follow designated vehicle route (available at runningwithed.com/race/vehicle-routes/)
· Vehicles must park in designated parking spaces at exchanges
Weather
The race will go on regardless of weather. Please dress and prepare accordingly.
The third annual Running with Ed relay race will be held on May 19, 2012. Running with Ed is a 41-mile relay race with 10 race legs. The legs vary in length from 1 to 9 miles and travel scenic roadways and trails throughout Park City. All proceeds from the event go directly to benefit Park City Public Schools.
