The Course

Running with Ed’s course begins at the Newpark Field House at Kimball Junction, runs to Jeremy Ranch, Ecker Hill, the Utah Olympic Park, Canyons, Parley’s Park, Park City Mountain Resort, McPolin Elementary, Treasure Mountain, Trailside then back to Newpark.  Running with Ed will offer you one inspirational run!  Each exchange will be vying for ‘The Best Exchange” award. It’s like going to nine mini parties while running the race. This will be an awesome journey!

Water

Water will be available at the exchange points, and water stations at the McPolin Barn, the trailhead by the Park City Ice Arena and Sports Park, and in Round Valley, and at the finish line.  Please plan to carry water if you will need it more frequently..

Exchange Points

There are 9 exchange points in the race.  The wrist strap (baton) exchange occurs at each exchange along the course.  The runner who is finishing his/her leg must pass on the slap wristband to the next team runner within the marker exchange zone and continue this relay-style to finish line.  At all of the exchanges, there will be water and bathrooms.  At most of the exchanges, there will be music and snacks.

Course Cut Offs

There are two cut-off points in the race.

  1. All teams must be through Parley’s Park Elementary School at 1:00pm – the half way point in the race.  Teams that are not at Parley’s by 1:00pm will be directed to the City Park Exchange to resume the race.
  2. All teams must be at Trailside Elementary Exchange by 4:00pm.  Teams not at the Trailside Exchange by 4:00pm will be directed to proceed, by car, to the finish line at Newpark.
